Saving students money

Canterbury town centre is filled with retail and food outlets offering great price deals for everyone.

Students who make up a large part of Canterbury’s population seem to be the ones benefiting and making the most from such deals always looking for new vouchers and ways to save money.

With most of the year done, students are looking for ways to save as much money as they can, whether it be on food, clothes or day to day essentials.

Not being a popular choice amongst students, BHS who target the elder generation have managed to attract many students due to their £20 worth of savings vouchers in their restaurant.

"I heard BHS were doing really good food vouchers and since then I've been there so many times," said student Megan Sumner, at Christ Church University.

With great valued vouchers, BHS has been attracting many of the younger generations. The "buy one get one free" deal seems to be the most popular choice saving students money as well as giving them good food.

"Even though its not a place I would usually go to, my friends and I really enjoy the food there and at such low price its worth it," Megan Sumner added.

Always looking for the best price deals, students are seen around the bustling town centre. Popular choices include New look and Poundland which offer either student discount or low priced goods.

Christ Church student, Amber Rose, said: "It has come to that time of the year where I need to start saving money for holiday and so I'm always looking for ways to spend less money
