Canterbury Christ Chuch students have responded positively to these extended hours. Users will be able to use study spaces, PCs and iBorrow laptops, the Library catalogue, printing and copying facilities, and they will have access to library stock on all floors.
Student Yasmeen Lillah Mir said: "It's great knowing we have access to the library until later hours especially now with exams I feel like in the library its easier to concentrate and actually do revision."
Some students seem to prefer being surrounded by other students as a way to feel motivated in order to do work. Having extended opening hours is definitely a positive attribute which Christ Church offers to it's students in order to be successful.
"I prefer to go into the library to do work instead of staying home on my own. That way there is always someone around and so gives me an incentive to want to carry on working," Yasmeen Lillah Mir.
